Waiting For Obama
Join us for a one-night-only staged reading with all proceeds benefitting The Denver Actors Fund of this celebrated play championed by the London Daily Mail this way: “Journalist John Moore's play captures the political and social logjam of a society that can't even agree on its Constitution. Yet there is also a sweetness to a story that puts its faith in a humanity trampled underfoot by the rush to righteousness."
The year is 2016. A Colorado Springs family is convinced that President Barack Obama is coming for their guns. And they're right. John Moore's critically acclaimed play "Waiting for Obama" was an official selection of the New York International Fringe Festival. The play has lived on as a radio play, recorded live, and is presently licensed for viewing in 14 countries through Broadway on Demand.
